One dispatch desk, three kinds of work

Houses, small shops, offices and rental units all come through the same desk and get booked the same way.

  • Hands bending a copper pipe held in a bench vise

    Plumbing repair and installs

Leaks, running toilets, fixtures, shutoff valves, supply lines and disposals, in houses and small commercial spaces.

    • Faucets, toilets, valves, supply lines

    • Restrooms, mop sinks and small kitchens

    • A written price before work starts

    Repair and installs
  • A chrome sink drain strainer seen from above

    Drains and sewer lines

From a slow sink to a backed-up main: cable and jetting, then a camera look and a written note of what it showed.

    • Camera inspection of the line

    • What the camera saw, in writing

    Drains and sewers

The dispatch desk

A call center in the shop, not across the country.

Our dispatchers sit at the shop on North Highland Avenue and see where every van is.

They take your address and what is happening, book the nearest crew and text you the arrival window and your technician's first name. If the job needs a second van, they send it.

  • Staffed 24 hours a day, nights and Sundays too

  • No outside answering service

  • A text with your window and technician's name

  • Your photos go to the technician before the van arrives

Membership

A yearly plan for homes and small businesses

Pay once a year for a plumbing check and earlier booking on the dispatch board. It is a service plan, not insurance.

  • Home plan

For a house or a rental you own.

    • One plumbing check a year: shutoffs, water heater, visible supply lines and drains
    • Weekday windows booked ahead of non-members
    • Dispatch fee waived on weekday visits
    • Lower after-hours dispatch fee
    Term:
Billed once a year; renews until you cancel.
  • Business plan

For a shop, office or restaurant.

    • Two plumbing checks a year: restrooms, water heater, floor drains, visible lines
    • A named dispatcher as your contact
    • Weekday windows booked ahead of non-members
    • Lower after-hours dispatch fee
    Term:
Billed once a year for each location; renews until you cancel.

Not insurance. A plan does not pay for repairs, parts or damage; repair work is priced separately, in writing, before it starts. The plan is charged once a year and renews until you cancel by calling or texting the office before the renewal date.

After the visit

What customers wrote

“Our floor drain backed up on a Friday afternoon. The dispatcher took the details, and a technician with a camera arrived inside the window she gave me.”

Dalia H.Cafe owner

“A tenant called about a leaking supply line on a Sunday. One call to the desk, a text when the van left, another when it arrived.”

Andy L.Landlord, six rental units

“The technician said the water heater was worth repairing and wrote the price down first. I had been braced for a replacement pitch.”

Questions

Before you call

What happens when I call at night?

A dispatcher at our shop answers. They take your address and what is happening, send the nearest crew and text you the arrival window and your technician's name.

Does a night call cost more?

Yes. Calls after 7 p.m., on Sundays and on holidays carry a higher dispatch fee. The dispatcher gives you the figure before a van is sent, and you can say no.

Will I get a price before you start?

Yes. The technician finds the problem, explains the options and writes the price down before any work begins. The dispatch fee covers the drive and the diagnosis; repair work is priced separately.

How do arrival windows work?

Scheduled visits get a two-hour window, texted the morning of the visit. If a van is running late, the dispatch desk texts you before the window ends.

Do you work on commercial buildings?

Light commercial: shops, offices, restaurants and rental units. We don't do new construction on large buildings or process piping.

Not an emergency?

Book a visit window

Tell the dispatch desk what is going on. They text you a window, usually the same business day.
